One of the best ways to capture viewers attention with a short video is to riff off of something familiar. This can be done in tone, visuals or as a parody such as the above video.
Xero shoes were famously on Shark Tank, where the owner turned down the offer and used the publicity to build one of Colorado’s fastest growing businesses. The owner reached out to us after seeing our work and wanting to pair with a local production company to create video content. He knows the value in video marketing and wanted to hit the ground running.
After coming up with many ideas we decided it was best to start with a video that riffs on the “If You’re Brain Was on Drugs” ads from the 1980s. Short, sweet and to the point, this ad was very well received by customers.
